William Hall - Trombone

Will Hall is an experienced professional trombonist. He has spent several years working for many professional orchestras and ensembles around Britain, including performances with McFly, Bath Philharmonia, the Aurelian Ensemble, Swansea City Opera and the Welsh National Opera. He also teaches Trombone for the Downs school, Wraxall.
He was awarded distinctions by both the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, on their Postgraduate Diploma courses and Will also holds a BMus(Hons) degree from the RWCMD.
During his time at college William gained much recognition for his high standards of performance and won many prizes and awards including: The South Square Trust award to attend the Royal Academy of Music in 2005 and the Richard Clarkson Memorial Prize also in 2005. Will competed for and won the Linda Mowat Post-Graduate Brass Prize at the RWCMD in 2004 and also in 2004, was awarded an EMI Sound Foundation Bursary.
Will has been taught by some of the finest trombonists in the country including: Ian Bousefield, Dudley Bright, Dennis Wick, Mark Eager, Roger Cutts and Christopher Mowat. http://www.musicboxentertainments.co.uk
